Wheresoever she is, there is Eden

 

Created during an artist residency in Dańków, the series explores trees as witnesses to time, memory, and the continuity of a place. Rather than depicting the landscape directly, the paintings focus on trees and their reflections in water, gradually transforming recognisable forms into abstract compositions. The reflected tree becomes a subtle self-portrait — a way of expressing emotion, perception, and a personal relationship with the surrounding landscape. The series explores how the character of a place emerges not through its idealisation, but through an attentive and intimate encounter with nature.
